Security Bond / Deposit
Hirer is required to pay $50-$100 equipment security bond when collecting the Equipment from the owner. This security bond will be refunded to the hirer once the Equipment is returned by the hirer in the same condition as they were provided by the owner. Late returns will incur a late fee. Bond will not be returned until late fee is paid or late fee can be paid out of the bond.
Making a Booking
The non-refundable Security bond is required when making the booking. Booking can be made by filling out our request hire form. Or contacting us either email redlandsgameshire@hotmail.com or find us on Facebook.
Cancellation of booking
The initial deposit paid by the hirer is non-refundable. In the event the Hirer cancels the Booking within 7 days of the booking collection date (Delivery date of the Equipment by Owner or pick up date of the Equipment by the Hirer), Hirer is will lose their bond.
If a lockdown happens because of COVID-19, Security bond will be returned to the hirer.
If the weather is forcasted to be bad the hirer is to give 7 Days to cancel to receive their bond return. bond is not returned if it is cancelled a day before.
Rescheduling booking
You can Reschduling your booking up to 7 Days before the hire date without losing the booking bond.
Collection and Return
Hirer is to arrange with the owner a suitable time that works for collection and return of equipment. Late returns will incur a late fee of $10 each hour after the agreed time for pick ups or drop back of the equipment. Bond will not be returned until late fee is paid or late fee can be paid out of the bond.
Pick up is available from Thornlands.
Monday - Friday 6pm-8pm
Sunday - afternoon or Monday 6pm-8pm.
Delivery and Pick up
A small delivery fee applies to all bookings depending on the distance between our location and the location of your event and takes into consideration factors such as fuel and labour. We only deliver in the Redlands. Pick up is available from Thornlands.
Inspection of the equipment
All equipment will be inspected of any damage or any missing parts. This will take place after the games have been returned from hirer. If there are any damaged or missing parts, Hirer is required to pay the owner full compensation for replacement and repair to any equipment that needs replacing or fixed. Normal wear and tear are excepted.
If any damage or equipment missing before use of the hire, hirer is required to take pictures and email it over to redlandsgameshire@hotmail.com
Cleaning of the Equipment
All Equipment must be cleaned by the Hirer before returning back to Owner. Any equipment that are used outside by the Hirer. Hirer is responsible for cleaning, to ensure there are no mud / dirt on the equipment when returning back to Owner. Renter can choose to use their full bond for the owner to clean the equipment.
